GAME ON: Ocean County to sue Murphy over directive not to cooperate with ICE

A few days ago letters were sent to Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden and Cape May Sheriff Robert Nolan, both Republicans, from New Jersey Attorney General Grewal. The letter The letter accuses the Sheriffs of working too closely with ICE which goes against Grewal’s “Immigrant Trust Directive.”

Last night the Ocean County Board of Freeholders said they will file a federal lawsuit against Gov. Phil Murphy’s administration, over an immigration directive that prohibits state, county and local law enforcement agencies from engaging in routine acts of cooperation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reports the APP.

Incredibly, Ocean County Jail wouldn’t allow ICE to access it’s computer system.
