Kinneret Rises 15 Centimeters Since Friday, More Rain Expected

The Kinneret’s water level rose 11 centimeters in a single day, and 15.5 centimeters since Friday, Israel’s Water Authority reported Monday.

Currently, the Kinneret stands at 211.96 meters (695 feet) below sea level, 1.04 meters (3.4 feet) above the lower red line, and 3.16 meters )10.3 feet) below the upper red line signaling that the lake is full.

Rain is expected to continue falling intermittently Monday in northern and central Israel, with snow expected on Mount Hermon.
