An out-of-control MTA bus crashed into a Queens bagel shop in a chain-reaction crash which left one person injured and a gaping hole in the shop’s entrance.
An MTA spokesman told the Daily News that a Honda “hit the red light at a high rate of speed” near 58th Street and Woodside Avenue, smacking into the bus and causing it to careen onto the sidewalk and into the bagel shop.
Only the driver of the Honda needed medical attention after the crash.
The driver of the bus was not injured.
The front of the shop was pulverized, and there was damage to a Little Caesars next door, which is also owned by Kahn.
